Brazil, due to its continental size, publishes, in a condensed form, aeronautical information from all aerodromes and heliports in the national territory, only in the local language (Portuguese) in a Product called ROTAER.
ROTAER is a secondary document of Brazilian aviation designed to present in a condensed manner the aeronautical information of all aerodromes and heliports in the national territory, aiming mainly to complement part AD 2 of the AIP. It contains information of permanent nature.
ROTAER is available in digital format, which allows it to be printed on paper for use in domestic operations of any nature. ROTAER has a legend that decodes the way in which its aeronautical information is presented.
It is published on AISWEB and is also available on the FPL BR – EFB application. |
On the AISWEB website, in the AERODROMES tab, access the
ROTAERitem. The window already displays the aerodromes and heliports of its last amendment, which we call Digital Amendment (D-AMDT). If you want to see all AD/HP, you must use the "Procurar" ("Search") button with the filter empty.
ROTAER has an information cycle updated every 7 days, which differs from the AIP. In this publication we have information that is also publishable in the AIP, however, as its cycle is 7 days, the updates are published first in ROTAER and then, according to the AIRAC calendar, in AIP.
AIP Supplements may be published to temporarily change information contained in e-ROTAER. In such cases, reference will be made only to section AD 2. The user will know which aerodrome it refers to by reading the title of the AIP Supplement.
